- Create a new folder, either by right-clicking or with the
shortcut ctrl+shift+N. let the folder to keep the default name “New Folder.”
- Right-click on the new folder and choose “Rename.” Or click F2 to rename it. Delete the text that
reads “New Folder,” hold down the Alt key and type in 0160 on your number pad
(not the numbers above the letter portion of your keyboard). Release the Alt
key and hit “Enter.” You may now have a folder with no name.
- If it does not work then do one thing go to accessories - system tools and then open character map. And in character map go to fifth line click on the blank space then click select and copy now press rename the new folder and right click paste or just ctrl+ v and you are done.
- Right-click your no-name folder, click “Properties” and then “Customize” tab. Under “Folder icons” Now click “Change icon.” Scroll through the icons till you find a blank space. Click on the blank space and “OK.” Your folder now has no name and no icon.
